Pricing & Plans
Atom access and AI usage are billed separately. Here’s what matters before you start.
Trial
Atom includes a 7-day free trial that works locally on your machine. You can start the trial directly from the welcome screen (no account required). When the trial expires, tap Upgrade to unlock unlimited use.
You’ll still need to connect Codex, Claude Code, or an OpenCode provider before running automations.
Atom Licence
- One-time purchase: Pay once and own your licence forever. No recurring fees, no expiration.
- Updates: Your purchase includes one year of updates. Any version released during that year is yours to keep permanently, even after the year ends.
- After one year: You can continue using your current version indefinitely, or pay an upgrade fee at any point to receive another year of updates.
- Seats: Each licence allows up to two machines per user. Free a seat before moving computers via Settings → Account → Deactivate device.
AI Usage
Atom runs automations through the AI provider you select. Provider usage is separate from the Atom licence.
- OpenAI/Codex supports personal, Business, Enterprise, and API-key setups.
- Anthropic connects through Claude Code.
- OpenCode uses the model provider and account you configure.
Atom does not add any markup or proxy fees on top of provider pricing. You pay the AI provider directly. For a deeper look at what the limits are and how they work, see Usage Limits, or see Team & Enterprise AI Setup for work accounts and managed setups.
Optional Media Services
Atom uses separate optional services for image generation, Pexels stock media, and ElevenLabs transcription. Their keys, usage, and any charges are separate from your Atom licence and AI provider. See Integrations.
Team License Key
If your team has a shared licence key, you can activate it directly from the sign-in screen.
Each team key has a seat limit. If all seats are taken, contact your team admin to free one up.
