Installation

Install Atom once and it’s ready whenever you open your Adobe app.

Before You Begin

Premiere Pro 2025 (v25.0) or later

macOS 10.15+ or Windows 10+
An OpenAI or Claude account, or an OpenCode installation with a configured model provider
Internet access for downloads and sign-in

Step 1: Download Atom

Download the latest Atom for Premiere release ZIP, then unzip it to reveal the .zxp installer package.

Step 2: Install with ZXP Installer

Open ZXP Installer (download it first if needed).
In ZXP Installer’s settings, turn on Install for current user only.
Drag the Atom .zxp file into the window and wait for the “Installed” message.

Step 3: Restart the Adobe app

Quit and relaunch Premiere to load the extension.

Step 4: Open Atom

In Premiere choose Window → Extensions → Atom. The panel appears and you can resize or dock it anywhere in the UI.

If the menu item isn’t there, quit Premiere, relaunch, and try again. Still missing? Head to Troubleshooting.

Stay Updated

Atom lets you know when an update is available. Download the new .zxp, install it the same way, and you’re up to date.
