Subprocessors

This page lists the third-party services Atom uses to operate the website, payments, licensing, authentication, support, and optional AI-related workflows.

Core Services

• Cloudflare: Website hosting, CDN, security, and standard server logs.
• Appwrite Cloud: Authentication, license entitlement, seat management, and optional feedback report storage.
• Polar.sh: Checkout, order management, receipts, and license purchase records.
• Stripe: Payment processing through Polar.sh.

Customer-Selected AI Services

Atom connects to AI services selected or configured by the customer. Depending on the customer's setup, these services may receive prompts, chat messages, project context, preview frames, and explicitly attached files.

• OpenAI: AI processing for Codex/OpenAI setups.
• Anthropic: AI processing for Claude/Claude Code setups when configured.
• OpenRouter: Optional image generation routing when the customer enables image generation.

When a customer authenticates directly with an AI provider or uses its own enterprise account, that provider relationship is between the customer and the provider.

Other Platform Providers

Atom runs inside Adobe After Effects, but Adobe is not an Atom subprocessor. Adobe's own software and services are governed by the customer's Adobe agreement.

Changes

We will update this page when we add or remove subprocessors that materially affect customer data processing.
